Nav-to-Net Info Day at CosinusDigital Vantage Point goes to Germany!

On April 23, 2015, RIB Cosinus GmbH, our trusted partner in Germany, had an Info Day to introduce the launch of the latest version of Nav-to-Net™. Digital Vantage Point was excited to be a part of this event that invited customers (old and new) to participate and learn more about Nav-to-Net™, e-Commerce opportunities, and new NAV technologies that would further business growth.

The event yielded an interesting group of attendees from different industries and with varying levels of e-Commerce technologies integrated with their business. Though distinct from one another, they all were NAV users, desired unique customizations to their product, and to take advantage of the latest technologies for NAV. Cosinus invited a number of their existing NAV customers to take part and see the solution first-hand for themselves.

Working together, DVP and Cosinus were able to present new developments, features, and customization options to NAV users. The goal was to show off practical applications as well as the full extent of what Nav-to-Net™ could do. DVP presents a suite of solutions for online businesses working with NAV with a focus on tight seamless integration.

Kai Brüggemann, head of E-Business at Cosinus, presented Nav-to-Net™ to the group, demonstrating how users will have costs and data under full control. He also showed off the recent updates to Nav-to-Net™ like Responsive Design, allowing e-Commerce websites to be viewed from any device while providing the optimal user experience. Whether it be a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, the website’s layout is fluid and dynamically adapts to each viewport’s screen resolution.

Nav-to-Net ConfiguratorUp next was a demonstration of the brand-new Nav-to-Net™ Configurator, presented by Digital Vantage Point president Michael Kulik via web cast session. Configurator can be used to bridge the gap between what a business offers and what customers are looking for. It guides customers to better buying decisions, connecting them with the right products and features while handling complicated modifications and specifications. Nav-to-Net™ Configurator, seamlessly integrated with NAV, also offers benefits like increased sales opportunities, simplified sales of customized products, and keen competitive edge. Nav-to-Net Day at CosinusThe guest presenter for Info Day was Nav-to-Net™ user Oliver Widmer from the Swiss Gymnastics Association (STV). This was particularly useful for all participants of this event because it outlined the benefits of a truly integrated solution, their experience with Nav-to-Net™, and how much they benefited from advanced training courses. Oliver specifically focused on how they used the Submission Manager customized to their exact needs to great advantage, simplifying their business processes.  We love hearing how customers and our partners are tailoring Nav-to-Net™ – it assures us that our integrated solution can be used across a variety of industries.

Our Partner Account Manager in Europe, Maria Keech, was in attendance and fielded many questions about Nav-to-Net™ and DVP, including customizations and implementation. It was also a great opportunity for her to get to know the customers.

“The benefit for me was learning customer expectations and needs which were sometimes quite complex. It also strengthened the partnership with Kai and Cosinus by listening to their feedback and suggestions about Nav-to-Net™,” says Maria.

What Did We Learn:

  • Customers require different levels of support when making the important decision of which solution to choose. We will take that into consideration and will strive to be accommodating of their business needs. We want to provide enough information to all our customers so that they are confident in their decision.
  • Upgrades are important. Customers continue to be interested in the latest and greatest. In addition to upgrading their e-Commerce solution, they wanted NAV upgrades as well. We recommend reading this eBook for planning your NAV 2015 upgrade.
  • The basics have to be done right. Not every customer needs all of the features but they do need to have the foundation right. We know that proper integration to NAV is important and through talking with these customers, it has solidified the fact that it is something that customers continue to demand.

It was a successful event for Cosinus and Digital Vantage Point. We love meeting our partners and their customers. It’s a day to learn, network, and gain valuable insight. Our partner Kai says, “I now have the opportunity to schedule demos with customers that couldn’t attend but remain interested. Those that were here are very interested in an update or other services based on what they saw. Overall, it was a very good outcome.”
