Events We’re Attending in 2017

madridESPDigital Vantage Point is excited to announce that we will be attending these conferences:

It’s a little special this year because it’s our 20th anniversary. We enjoy these conferences because it’s a chance to network and meet up with our fantastic partners and clients, building on our relationships that we’ve developed over years. It’s such a good feeling to see our partners grow and change, much like how Microsoft Dynamics NAV has changed. We want to focus on how to make things easier and delivering elegant experiences in e-Commerce, even amongst the anticipated changes to come regarding NAV and the Dynamics channel. We’re also offering a little extra something for Directions EMEA attendees: a 2 day training workshop to extend the value of the event!

Changes to Microsoft Conferences

Digital Vantage Point Convergence BoothWhy We’re Not Exhibiting at Envision 2016

There’s been a change in the Microsoft conferences this year, specifically Convergence. In the past, this has been an event that we’ve attended, sponsored, and invested in to great success (see here and here.) However, this year, Microsoft has rebranded the event and it is now called Envision. It targets C-level executives and key business decision makers. The conference seeks to help business leaders to understand new technology and how they can take advantage of the evolving business landscape;  it aims to focus on the insights and strategies from various Microsoft channels.

Be “The Special”: Lessons from The LEGO® Movie

iStock_000021403929SmallI recently saw The LEGO® movie and really enjoyed it. It was a fun film, great for kids but also chock full of lessons for adults. Awash with nostalgia, laugh-out-loud moments, pointedly but well-done satire, and some great life lessons, I left the movie feeling very happy and satisfied.

But later, some of the lessons in the movie got me thinking about e-Commerce.

Spoilers alert in what follows, obviously.
